Finished the Futons
We finally were able to buy the drawer guides to finish the futons. There are 2 large drawers under the seat.
The side panels were installed.
A view from the front.
The futon opens to make a full size bed. It sleeps 2 persons comfortably. We made 2 for the living room. It is great to have furniture that you can be comfortable.

Rooms as the Remodeling Progresses

Progress on the Guest Apartment
The walls are being tiled. The young men I mentor are learning to lay tile.
The rooms are getting a fresh coat of paint.
The closets were removed to be repaired and tiles placed on the floor.
The bedrooms are finished.
Repairs to Guest House
The supply line to the toilet became brittle and broke in the guest apartment. Nobody had been in the apartment for several weeks. When we discovered the leak the damage was already done. The linoleum floor tiles all lifted in 4 rooms, the bottom of doors were water soaked and separated, the closets were damaged at the bottom, and water marks were left on the walls.
The apartment was gutted and we began repairs. The first thing we done was to replace the floor with ceramic tiles. Pictured is a section of the design in the floor.

Repairing the Pulpit
The pulpit was in bad shape. The plywood was separating and pealing off. We put on new veneer plywood and gave it a face lift. We will be giving it a coat of varnish soon.
